  2. 1 cup wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cup ghee(if required take more ghee)
  4. 15 cashew nuts

Instructions to make to make Wheat halwa

  1. Prepare chapati dough(no oil) using the wheat flour. Soak the dough for 3-4 hours with 4 cups of water After 4 hours, mix it well and take only the milk from the soaked chapati dough.
  2. Heat 2 spoons ghee in pan and fry the cashew nuts till golden colour
  3. Once the cashew nuts are golden colour, pour the wheat milk and mix well.
  4. In low flame mix well until it thickens.
  5. Once the wheat milk thickens, add 2 cups of sugar and mix well. Keep the stove in medium flame.
  6. In other pan add 1/4 cup sugar and 2 spoons water and make the caramel.
  7. When the sugar gets golden brown, switch off the flame add to the halwa pan.
  8. Mix everything well and add a spoonful of ghee.
  9. Until getting the halwa consistency, mix well and add ghee in certain interval.
  10. It will take hardly 1 hour and 30 mins for perfect texture.
  11. When the ghee starts released from halwa switch off the flame. Until then mix well in low flame.
  12. Tasty wheat halwa ready. serve hot or cold.
